    Parklane was historically part of the Harold Oliver schools were named after Harold Oliver who came to our district in 1939. He was part of teaching staff of 5 in the single school district then called Lynch District. He retired after 43 years of teaching and administrating, and later died at the age of 96. He was known for his leadership and devotion to both students and teachers.
