2021-22 Start of School Year Information for CVA Families:
Welcome to the start of the 2021-22 school year!
We are excited to support you and your students with engaging learning opportunities in our unique, online environment.
This year, all CVA students will be assigned a support teacher. This teacher will be your main contact for the year. Your support teacher will be reaching out to you next week to establish a regular schedule for checking in. These check-ins are designed to support you and your student with creating a schedule that works for you to manage workload and monitoring progress in courses in the Edgenuity platform.
Your support teacher will reach out to you during the week of September 7-10 to set up an orientation meeting to help you navigate the Edgenuity platform and get your students started in their courses. They will communicate the start date for each course when they meet with you. The first two weeks of the school year for CVA families is all about getting to know your support teacher and learning how to successfully navigate the learning platform.
CVA students need access to the internet and a computer in order to participate in the program. Chromebooks and hotspots are available to students who need them. They can be picked up at the District office on September 8 and 9. CVA K-5 students need workbooks to complete their classes. These will be available for pick up at the District Office on September 8 and 9, 2021.
